Items we are able to accept:
As you can imagine, we can only accept items that are in good condition with no rips, stains, tears, breaks, pet hair or furniture that has been in the presence of cigarette smoke. Please keep in mind that the homes we furnish, are usually about 400sf, not very big- so "smaller furniture" is best!
Just fill out all areas of the donation form to schedule a donation pick-up with the Make-It-A-Home Furniture Drive. We will contact you with a date to pick up your furniture. If you have not heard from us please take the time to check your spam/junk folder and search for Make-It-A-Home@FromHouseToHomeInc.org, you can avoid our email going to your spam box by adding us to your address book.
Please be aware that WE DO NOT accept items that have tears, stains or breaks, or office furniture. We pick up in most of Baltimore City/County, Anne Arundel, Harford counties. An adult must be present for us to enter a home; you can always leave items on the porch. At the time of the pick-up drivers can refuse any item that does not meet our policy.
Thank you again, and we look forward to working with you to help provide essential household items to our Veteran community.
